THE MEDICAL EFFECTS OF HUMAN CONTACT WITH UAPS: CLINICAL DATA AND ONGOING GLOBAL RESEARCH
Dr. Segala’s research investigates the physiological and clinical consequences of close human contact with unknown aerial phenomena (UAPs/UFOs). Drawing on comprehensive medical records from more than 50 cases of acute, high-exposure events and several hundred additional cases of chronic post-contact conditions, he will present objective clinical findings, diagnostic imagery, and documented timelines of symptom onset. The talk includes photographic and clinical examples of cutaneous and other tissue abnormalities that appeared days to weeks after exposure, and an evidence-based discussion of plausible mechanisms by which high-energy objects (including UAPs, orbs, and transient portals) might produce injury in proximate humans.
Dr. Segala will also present preliminary results from an ongoing international cohort study of 500 individuals with frequent encounters, sharing aggregated data, analytic methods, and notable trends that have emerged so far. Attendees will come away with an improved clinical framework for identifying potential UAP-related health effects, an understanding of the study’s methodology and limitations, and practical recommendations for future research and clinical evaluation.
Dr. Jim Segala brings over 30 years of distinguished experience in the fields of science and engineering, with a career focused on the design and construction of advanced experimental systems. He holds a Ph.D. in Physics, along with advanced degrees in Engineering, and has made significant contributions to innovation and research across multiple scientific disciplines.
For more than ten years, Dr. Segala served as a senior researcher at the Institute for Advanced Studies at Austin, where he led pioneering investigations in radiobiology, quantum entanglement, quantum optics, vacuum polarization, and neurobiology. His work in these areas has established him as a recognized authority in both academic and applied research communities.
Dr. Segala is also well known in the media as a subject matter expert. He was featured in Season 1 of the History Channel’s The Secret of Skinwalker Ranch, multiple episodes of National Geographic’s UFOs: Investigating the Unknown, and Discovery Channel’s Mystery at Blind Frog Ranch and more. In addition, he is a frequent guest on podcasts and a sought-after speaker at conferences, where his insights into anomalous phenomena are highly regarded.
Currently, Dr. Segala's research centers on unexplained injuries occurring under unusual or anomalous circumstances. This includes a comprehensive three-year study documenting and analyzing anomalous activity in Utah’s Uintah Basin, with findings to be published in an upcoming report.
In parallel, he continues to advance computational models in complex systems across chemistry, biology, electrodynamics, and mechanics. Dr. Segala has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications in radiobiology, advanced medical imaging, and other biophysical fields, further solidifying his standing as a leading voice in scientific exploration and discovery.
