FROM SKEPTIC TO BELIEVER; THE EVOLVING PERSPECTIVE OF AN EXPERIENCER
Melinda will discuss the concept of a “Super Experiencer” which has been defined as a person who has experienced at least 4-5 different categories of the paranormal. Categories can include UFO/UAP sightings, Missing Time, Abductions, NDE, OOB Experiences, Ghosts/Poltergeist, Mystical Experiences, Psychedelic Experiences, and Cryptid Sightings, among others. It is becoming increasing recognized that Experiencers and Super Experiencers are not that rare. Melinda will give a brief overview of her many personal encounters with recurrent “High Strangeness”, and will then focus on several UAP and Sasquatch encounters she was confronted with in SE Oklahoma. She will also discuss the effects that such experiences have upon an Experiencer regarding personal transformation and fundamental changes in belief systems.
BIO
Melinda is a retired Pediatric Medical Doctor who resides in Oklahoma. Her life has been punctuated by mystical, paranormal, and bizarre experiences beginning in early childhood. These include UFO/UAP sightings, episodes of missing time, two NDE’s, three Bigfoot/Sasquatch encounters, ghost/poltergeist activity, among other types of experiences. A search for answers in response to the many questions generated by these occurrences, has led her on a journey of exploration of consciousness and the nature of reality.
